We are excited to announce that a group of EU Geneva<\/a> students, along with EU\u2019s Chief Academic Officer Dr. Jon-Hans Coetzer and our Head of Research, Dr. Suddha Chakravartti, will be\u00a0taking part in\u00a0the\u00a0prestigious World Communication\u00a0Forum<\/strong> in Geneva.<\/p>\n

Taking place from March 21-22, the World Communication Forum brings together an impressive selection of communications experts from around the globe for an insightful two-day conference on the power of communication and its influence in today’s rapidly evolving world. This prestigious\u00a0event provides a platform\u00a0to discuss, debate and analyze\u00a0the role of communications in business, society and politics. Participants will explore the upcoming trends in communications and\u00a0discuss\u00a0ways\u00a0to help companies improve their corporate and social efficiency.<\/p>\n

The 2018 edition<\/h2>\n

This year’s event will focus on the future of communications, exploring a wide range of themes from global health promotion and artificial intelligence to the role of social media influencers and the power of ethics in public relations.<\/p>\n

In 2017 it became obvious that the communication industry has finally changed…New industries such as social media management and virtual reality finally shaped into separate markets. However, talent, creativity and relationships \u2013 in their traditional sense \u2013 have acquired a complementary value. As a keynote speaker at this global event, EU’s very own Dr. Coetzer\u00a0will speak about the role of education in leadership, and the need for more effective and inclusive communication. His keynote speech is titled ‘The Future of Learning\u00a0– Education in the Communication in the 21st Century’<\/strong>. Meanwhile Dr. Chakravartti will be moderating one of\u00a0the panel discussions.<\/p>\n

On the second day of the event, our\u00a0talented students; Vuc Bjelajac, <\/strong>Lea Katunaric, <\/strong>Felix Hill <\/strong>and Elisabeth S\u00fcnder, <\/span><\/strong>will take\u00a0part in\u00a0a panel discussion titled ‘Leaders of the Future. Young Leadership Power’<\/strong>. The students will have the fantastic chance to\u00a0discuss and debate a plethora of issues on youth and leadership with other participants.<\/p>\n
