Art\u016bras Kojala is an alumnus of EU Business School\u2019s online campus. He studied his MBA with a major in International Business from his hometown of Vilnius in Lithuania.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art\u016bras is a partner responsible for real estate and infrastructure at COBALT Legal<\/a>, one of the biggest law firms in the Baltic States. He chose to pursue an MBA because he\u2019s interested in life-long learning and personal development, seeking new knowledge, experiences and challenges.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art\u016bras shared some advice and encouragement for students studying online<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why did you choose to study online?\u202f<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I couldn\u2019t leave my job and family in order to study on campus so an online MBA<\/a> provided the perfect opportunity to continue my studies. And I am glad I did as everything was carried out in a such efficient and pleasant manner at EU.   \u202f  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What advice <\/strong>can <\/strong>you share with student<\/strong>s? <\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There is only one thing that I regret \u2013 I did not make enough time to take advantage of all the valuable information I received from professors and classmates. The most important piece of advice I can give would be to plan your time in order to take as much as possible from the course \u2013 which is of the highest level at EU.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also would suggest being as active as possible. Engage with forum posts, share thoughts, presentations and get involved in other course activities, I found them very instructive. Interacting and collaborating with classmates from all around the world (Canada, Puerto Rico, Germany, Kazakhstan, South Africa, India etc.) was very interesting and helpful. The opportunity to work with peers from different cultures, to topics from different perspectives and work in groups was invaluable.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can you share a highlight from your time studying online at EU?\u202f <\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

EU’s experienced professors prepare study materials in a very interesting way and were ready to offer help and advice at any time. That was very important. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secondly, on-campus weeks were a great opportunity to meet classmates, go on company visits and more.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lastly, I want to mention the staff of EU who made the online learning experience so enjoyable!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How has your online qualification helped you in your career? <\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Studying an MBA helps you to understand the whole business environment and culture. Knowledge you gain about things like marketing, organizational behavior, markets, finance and quantitative business methods are all very helpful in day-to-day business.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My MBA has helped me to understand my clients better and to understand business philosophy in general. It has improved my ability to communicate clearly and without including too much detail, which can be challenging for a lawyer! And it taught me how to structure and plan my time efficiently, which is has been very important for my career success.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Studying at EU shaped and changed my approach and strengthened my self-confidence.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
