The EU admission process made easy

The application process for EU Business School is straightforward, and our expert team is on hand to guide you every step of the way.

After submitting your application, you’ll have a one-to-one assessment with your personal admissions advisor that will give us a chance to get to know you and understand your goals.

Your advisor will provide all the support you need throughout the application process, including explaining the documentation requested, providing timings and answering all your questions clearly and helpfully.

English Foundation


To be admitted to this program, you must demonstrate that you fulfill our English level requirements. In addition, you must meet the academic requirements for entry to your chosen bachelor's, master's or MBA program.  

You will also need to supply a range of documents which we list below. Our team is on hand to help you through the process!

Documents

The admissions team on your chosen campus will explain how to submit these documents during your one-to-one assessment. If the documents are not in English, they should be sent with a certified English translation. 

  • One completed application form (if the application was not filled in online
  • One certified copy of previous studies/high school diploma and transcripts. Applicants who do not have a secondary school certificate at the time of applying must present an official secondary school transcript or record of their last year of secondary school study. Transcripts are considered official if they bear an official school stamp and the signature of the principal. They should also include the school’s contact information. The document should list the subjects taken, grades earned and examination results for each subject and include certificates or diplomas.  
  • Proof of English level: TOEFL score 59/3 (as of Jan 2026) (internet-based), 169 (computer-based); IELTS 5.0; CAE B1 with a minimum score of 154; minimum PTE-A of 40. 
  • One letter of recommendation. This should come from an academic advisor who is familiar with your academic performance and potential for leadership.   
  • One motivation letter. Your motivation letter will help the EU Admissions Department get to know you, understand why you wish to attend EU and determine your level of self-expression. 
  • An electronic passport photo or 3 printed passport-size photos 
  • One copy of valid passport or ID card 
  • One bank certificate or letter certifying the applicant's financial solvency 
  • €/CHF 200 non-refundable application fee. Please provide a money order, check or receipt for a bank transfer payable to EU.

Business Bridging

Executive Bridging


To be admitted to this program, you must demonstrate that you fulfill our academic and English proficiency requirements. You must also have five years of successful managerial experience and be 25 or older. If you do not meet these criteria, you will have an interview with the Admission Committee to be considered on a merit basis or else directed to a foundation program.  

You will also need to supply a range of documents which we list below. Our team is on hand to help you through the process!

The admissions team on your chosen campus will explain how to submit these documents during your one-to-one assessment. If the documents are not in English, they should be sent with a certified English translation. 

  • One completed application form (if the application was not filled in online

Please write an essay (approximately 500 words) or record a 1-2 minute video essay to include in your application package. This will help the EU Admissions Committee get to know you and what motivates you and determine how well you express yourself. The essay will be evaluated on clarity, creativity, completeness of response, sentence structure, spelling, grammar and style. 

The essay should be on one of the following topics: 

  • Tell us about the most challenging team experience you have had to date. What role did you play? What did you learn? 
  • Please describe a personal failure that has impacted your life and what you learned from it. 
  • What achievement are you most proud of (studies, sports, professional life, etc.)? 
  • If you were to imagine an entirely different life from the one you lead, how would you envision it? 
  • All of us have been influenced by people, events and situations in our lives. How have these influences shaped who you are today?

Bachelor's

*Diplomas accepted: 

  • Leaving Certificate: Under the new Common Points Scale for Leaving Certificate 2017, applicants must obtain a minimum of 2 H5s and 4 O6/H7s, to include Mathematics and English or another language or equivalent. 
  • FETAC: A full FETAC award at Level 5 on the NFQ and which includes a Distinction grade in at least three modules. A full FETAC award normally consists of eight modules. A record of achievement/component certificate does not meet minimum entry standards. FETAC Level 5 awards will be accepted in any discipline. 
  • A-Levels/GCSE: Minimum of four GCSE passes at grade C to include Mathematics and English or another language, plus two A-level passes at grade C or higher. 
  • IB: IB Diploma with minimum of 24 points 
  • BTEC: Minimum of a BTEC National Diploma in a cognate area. 

 
German and other European Union applicants 
All European (EU) nationals are classified as standard applicants. Standard applications are classified as those who meet minimum entry requirements for programs and are assessed on the basis of education qualifications, i.e. School Leaving Certificate results. Students from Germany need to provide a German School Leaving Certificate (Abutur/ Zeugnis der Allgemein Hochschulreife) with a minimum of 6 subjects (2 with 6 on Intensive subjects and 4 with 4 on Standard subjects). The program requires a minimum of 4 in Standard level (Abitur) in Mathematics. Applicants also need to have 11 in English at a Standard subject or 9 in English at an Intensive subject. 

 
Mature 
All EU nationals aged 23 years before 1st of January in the year of application are classified as ‘mature applicants’. Mature learners can apply directly to the college and will be assessed on basis of age, work experience and educational attainment as outlined in the DBS Quality Assurance Handbook (QAH). 

BA (Hons) in Business Management


To be admitted to these programs, you must demonstrate that you fulfill our academic and English proficiency requirements.

To be admitted to this DBA program, you must demonstrate that you fulfill our academic and English proficiency requirements. If you do not meet the criteria, you will be interviewed by the admission committee and will be considered on a merit basis.   • Two letters of recommendation. These letters should come from academic advisors who are familiar with your academic performance. If you have been out of the academic world for a while, please submit two letters from employers and/or managers who are familiar with your work ethic, ability and leadership skills. 
  • One research proposal stating your reasons for pursuing a DBA and your research interests; should be 3-5 pages in length  
  • An electronic passport photo or 3 printed passport-size photos 
  • One copy of valid passport or ID card

How much will I have to pay for tuition?

I have accepted my place at EU Business School. What should I do next?

Pay the advance tuition payment and confirm your intention to attend by paying the first installment of the program. Upon receipt, we will send confirmation of your enrollment at EU.

How do I pay tuition fees?

Students can pay their tuition fees via bank transfer, check or credit card. Once we have received the completed application package, the admissions department will send you information about tuition fee payments.

How do I find out about accommodation?

Please contact the admissions department of your chosen campus for housing advice.

I have paid my fees and have received a visa. What happens next?

The academic department will email you class timetables before the beginning of the academic semester.

Can I visit my campus before the beginning of my studies?

Please contact the admissions department of your chosen campus. We will be happy to show you around.

Is it possible to transfer credits from another educational institution?

If you already have university credits from another institution, you may be able to transfer some toward a bachelor’s degree program at EU Business School. To apply for credit transfer, you will need to provide detailed course descriptions (in English), which should be sent with your application form and transcripts. Contact our admissions team for more information.

Do I need health insurance?

Health insurance is mandatory in most European countries. Students are requested to obtain health insurance themselves. Please do not hesitate to contact EU if you require information on health insurance service providers, or any assistance.

Can EU Business School help me with my visa application?

The admissions department will contact you to offer help with your student visa and to answer your questions. On receipt of the final acceptance letter from EU, non-European Union applicants should apply for a student visa at the nearest embassy or consulate of the country where they wish to study.
