We are committed to being a forward-thinking, responsible institution that champions sustainability and inclusivity. By nurturing conscious “change-maker managers,” we aim to empower students to become transformative leaders who will shape a more sustainable, equitable future across global industries.

The "Time to Act" Sustainable Impact Plan is based on three key pillars:

Time to Accomplish (Education)

Environment

Time to Take Care (Society)

Pillar 1: Time to Accomplish (Education)

We are transforming our academic approach by integrating sustainability principles across programs and research, directly aligned with the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Our targeted training empowers students and employees with critical insights into Corporate Social Responsibility, environmental stewardship, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, preparing conscious professionals to drive global change.

Integrating sustainability in all its dimensions – environmental, social, and societal – is fundamental to our educational mission, empowering both learners and employees with comprehensive sustainability insights.

Strategic targets by 2027:

  • 100% of programs will incorporate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Environmental stewardship, and DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion).
  • 100% Employment of Sustainability Certifications (TASK)
  • 25% of research activities aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Developing Unique Skills

The Sustainability-focused certifications like TASK will assess sustainable development knowledge, rolling out across EU Business School group from 2025.

Focus areas:

  • Enhance alumni employment rates within 12 months of graduation
  • Develop targeted training programs and specialized events
  • Create opportunities for community service and volunteer work

Research Commitment

We are establishing a dedicated Research Center with the following priorities:

  • Conducting sustainability-focused research
  • Developing impact-driven projects and innovation incubators

PRME Commitment

As a signatory member of PRME (Principles for Responsible Management Education) since 2008, EU Business School has been committed to supporting universal values of sustainability, responsibility and ethics throughout the institution and its partnerships. Annual Sharing Information on Progress (SIP) reports highlight achievements in teaching, research and thought leadership that support United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Pillar 2: Time to Be Consistent (Environment)

Our environmental commitment drives systematic reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through targeted interventions. We focus on comprehensive sustainability strategies that address carbon reduction, energy efficiency, and responsible resource management across our purchasing, vending machines, and campus operations.

Sustainability Objectives by 2027

We are committed to comprehensive decarbonization, with a strategic goal of achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050. As part of the OMNES Group, we’re taking part in a transition plan targeting a 2% annual reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. A dedicated carbon committee at OMNES, comprising key decision-makers at EU Business School, oversees the implementation of this plan.

Key environmental targets:

  • 100% zero plastic policy across all campuses
  • Consistent 2% annual reduction of GHG emissions
  • 100% Suppliers committed to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Digital Responsibility

Recognizing that the digital sector contributes 2% to our carbon footprint, EU Business School will attain a comprehensive Group-wide responsible digital charter. This initiative aims to minimize our digital environmental impact by promoting sustainable technology practices.

Key digital initiatives:

  • Subscribe to the Sustainable IT Charter (ISIT)
  • Implement sustainable purchasing and procurement practices

Low-Carbon Mobility

We are actively strengthening our low-carbon mobility strategy by implementing measures to promote sustainable business travel.

Waste Management

Our comprehensive waste management approach focuses on raising environmental awareness and driving significant waste reduction. Key waste management initiatives:

  • Develop responsible campus environments that are resource-efficient and integrated with local communities
  • Adapt OMNES Waste Management Policy to EU Business School campuses

Pillar 3: Time to Take Care (Society)

We are committed to a comprehensive Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (DEI) policy that champions gender equality, prevents discrimination, and ensures inclusive environments for all employees and students.

Key Inclusivity Targets:

  • 100% of campuses to be inclusive
  • 100% commitment to gender equality
  • 100% of employees and students to have access to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) training sessions

Gender Equity

We are committed to promoting professional equality between women and men through a comprehensive agreement focusing on:

  • Increasing diversity in leadership positions
  • Improving working conditions (including flexible work arrangements)

Psychological Safety and Inclusivity

Our comprehensive approach protects students and employees from all forms of violence and discrimination by:

  • Appointing dedicated representatives for mental well-being, sexual violence prevention, sexual orientation, and disability support
