Program structure

This is a one-year program (60 ECTS), divided into three terms. Each term comprises two subject-specific courses plus a project-based module and a skills-development module.

You will also participate in real-life case studies and company visits, as well as the innovative Business Immersion Weeks which take place every term.

In order to graduate, you must also complete a Final Capstone Project (6 ECTS).

Term 1 (18 ECTS)
Tools for Success

Successful managers skillfully manage their resources and risks to produce a desired organizational outcome. A key and often overlooked challenge for managers is the ability to manage without influence: in other words, to gain the support of stakeholders and access to resources not directly under their control. Students will explore project management, effective negotiation and communication skills with a practical, hands-on approach through case studies and class exercises. This course will also review socio-political complexities, creativity and emotional considerations as well as approaches to maximize influence. Students will acquire the fundamental tools, concepts and behavioral skills needed to successfully lead and realize benefits from projects, negotiations and communications.

Business Immersion Week

Business Immersion Week is dedicated solely to business-related activities outside the classroom. Students take part in a wide range of events including company visits, escape rooms, managerial problem-solving games and entrepreneurial endeavors. Through this intense week of dynamic activities, students hone their business skills and put theory into practice.

1 ECTSSKILLS-DEVELOPMENT MODULE

Winning Strategies for Market Entry

This is a practical course structured as a project with an iterative format. It is designed to provide a dynamic and engaging experience of executing a strategy consulting project based on a case study. Students will learn to self-organize and collaborate with teammates to solve problems and manage projects effectively and successfully by learning to implement feedback. In addition, students will learn to apply tools and soft skills that will enable them to solve challenges and execute projects as external or internal consultants, individual contributors, or organizational leaders.

6 ECTSPROJECT-BASED MODULE

AI for Digital Business Transformation

This overarching course lays the AI foundations for aspiring business leaders striving to excel in technologically transformative environments. It imparts essential AI literacy and leadership skills vital for navigating and leveraging AI's transformative potential. The course delves into advanced AI concepts that will be further explored in later courses, highlighting strategic business applications, ethics and economic implications. Upon completion, students will become familiar with the tools needed to lead AI initiatives, drive organizational AI adoption, and become champions of AI innovation while developing strategies for optimization in an AI-powered business landscape.

3 ECTSSUBJECT-SPECIFIC MODULE

Data Science & Data Literacy for Business Leadership

Students will learn the essential data science and data literacy concepts vital for effective business management within an AI-driven organizational context. As well as introducing and contextualizing the Big Data paradigm in the landscape of business leadership, the course offers comprehensive coverage of data governance, stewardship and data strategy principles at managerial and executive levels. Upon completion, students will understand the data management skills expected for roles such as chief data officer and similar positions.

Term 2 (18 ECTS)
Developing a Leadership Edge

This course equips students with the skills required to become effective leaders. Students will learn how to take decisions under uncertainty, build the capabilities needed to lead across local and international boundaries, and learn how to bridge culture gaps and differences to create value for the organization. Students will further develop the ability to lead through challenging dilemmas and explore the role of emotional intelligence in transforming a good leader into a great one. This course will equip students with the knowledge and skills required to formulate contemporary leadership strategies, which will allow for both short- and long-term success. The course takes a pragmatic, real-world approach and embraces the latest thinking in leadership development.

Strategic Development for Business Success

This is a practical course in strategy development structured as an agile project, culminating in creation of a strategy based on a luxury tourism case study. The course is designed to provide a dynamic and engaging experience of developing a strategy by understanding context, choices and determining goals which will determine resource allocation and defend competitive differentiation. The project will involve market research, analysis of segment attractiveness and competitive position building on capabilities and existing strengths. The final strategy will devise development of winning plays for competitive advantage aligned to the company mission and performance objectives. Students will learn to self-organize and collaborate with teammates to effectively manage content modules with group work as with a real management consulting project.

6 ECTSPROJECT-BASED MODULE

AI for Business Operations

Core areas and current trends in today’s AI landscape, including machine learning, deep learning, robotics, natural language processing and more, will be covered in this course. It examines their roles and adoption within business operations, exploring how different AI technologies interact with various departments in organizations and how they are applied in real-world scenarios. Special emphasis is placed on managerial-level use case resolution, covering the analysis, selection and adoption of appropriate techniques across diverse scenarios. Additionally, the course outlines AI's roles and team-building aspects within an organization, emphasizing its connection to AI specialization areas.

3 ECTSSUBJECT-SPECIFIC MODULE

AI for Strategic & Product Decisions

Offering a senior management and executive perspective, this course establishes the groundwork to empower students as effective and impactful decision-makers in the adoption and utilization of AI strategies. Engaging in challenging case studies, students will gain insight into the daily challenges faced by senior management and C-level executives, where critical decisions are guided by, or connected to, AI technologies. In the second part of the course, the focus shifts to product management leadership and how strategic AI decisions can inform executive-level product decisions and product roadmap design.

Term 3 (18 ECTS)
Building Successful Teams

This course equips students with the skills required to build and lead successful, high-performance teams. The students will learn to manage team dynamics in local and global environments and navigate through corporate and cultural challenges, including crisis management, miscommunication, and conflict resolution. A hands-on approach to team development will be introduced. Considerable attention will be paid to team leadership and empowerment within an ever-changing business environment.

1 ECTSSKILLS-DEVELOPMENT MODULE

New Product Development for Growth

This project-based new product development course is designed to provide students with experience in creating and developing a new product from ideation to launch. The course follows the lean startup method. The basic principle of this method is to launch a new product as quickly as possible in order to obtain customer feedback at a very early stage. This is done in a build-measure-learn cycle, which is constantly repeated to develop a product that is designed to be as close as possible to the customer's needs. Students will learn to apply this iterative approach in a concrete case study. They will not only learn the methodological basics and the required toolbox, but also the mindset, which is fundamentally different from that of classic product development. At the end of the course, participants should be able to successfully apply the Lean Startup method in concrete product, service, and business development situations.

6 ECTSPROJECT-BASED MODULE

AI in Investment & Competitiveness

Future business leaders will learn to harness AI technologies in investment, business expansion and competitiveness strategies through this course. By integrating financial, customer-related, product value, disruption and other business factors, the course provides executives with actionable guidelines for leading growth and expansion initiatives powered by AI. Additionally, it covers loyalty, competition analysis and advanced market phenomena, ensuring that AI-literate business leaders are well-versed in these critical areas and prepared for effective AI-related communication with related departments in their organization.

Corporate Responsibility in the Age of AI

This course introduces the principles of leading responsible and accountable AI portfolios within an organization. It covers essential content, including AI ethical principles in higher managerial roles, privacy considerations, the promotion of fair and unbiased AI solutions, and the cultivation of a culture that ensures transparency and explain ability in AI systems. The course also provides valuable insights into risk management for AI systems at the executive level and explores prospects for sustainable AI and the future implications of these technologies.

Final Capstone Project

This Capstone Project is an opportunity for students to apply their knowledge and skills from previous courses in their program to either create a business plan or expand on a previous project. Through this project, students will comprehensively understand business principles, methods, tactics, and practical insights into the tools and resources required to begin or manage a successful business.

Learning outcomes

This master’s program develops the knowledge and skills to design effective strategic digital marketing plans and campaigns, understand customer motivation, manage brands on social media and leverage web analytics effectively.

Students will be able to:

  • Become an AI-literate business leader capable of comprehending and overseeing innovative AI - solutions at an organizational, management, governance and higher operations level.
  • Acquire a strong leadership vision to be able to identify and design long-term strategic organization roadmaps predicated on AI technologies.
  • Integrate major AI paradigms into business and collaboration-building strategies with stakeholders, integrated with data science and engineering departments.
  • Become an expert in ethical, legal and social aspects of AI, required to lead AI portfolios.

Degree awarded

On successful completion of this program, you will earn:

  •  A university-specific degree (título propio*) awarded by Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya (UVic-UCC), Spain.
  •  A master’s degree from EU Business School Switzerland, which is institutionally accredited by IQA and certified by eduQua and programmatically by ACBSP and IACBE.

Note: Upon successful completion of the graduation requirements, students who accessed this program via the Executive Bridging Program (EBP) will earn the following qualifications:

  • A master’s degree from EU Business School Switzerland, which is institutionally accredited by IQA and certified by eduQua and programmatically by ACBSP and IACBE.
  • Optional additional qualification (see below) to earn a U.K. state-recognized degree awarded by London Metropolitan University.

Additional qualification

After completing the master program, you will have the opportunity to earn an additional qualification, a U.K. state-recognized degree from London Metropolitan University (London Met).

To earn the MSc International Business Management, you must complete an additional 14-week Business Consultancy Project module (30 ECTS) and a Research Module.

Academic requirements:

  •  One certified copy of bachelor's degree and transcripts


Proof of English level:

  • TOEFL score 93/4.5 (as of Jan 2026) (internet-based), 238 (computer-based); IELTS 6.5; CAE C1 with a minimum score of 176; minimum PTE-A of 59; native speaker of English or equivalent.


Applicants must also meet one of the following:

  • A GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • A satisfactory score on the GMAT or GRE
  • An interview with the academic dean
