Carlos Canivell Cretchley

Carlos Canivell Cretchley holds an MBA from Columbia Business School (New York), an MBA from ESADE (Barcelona) and a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Spain.

He currently combines his academic work as director of the Department of Management, Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the EU Business School in Barcelona with his activities as a professor in those related areas.

He has received several awards and professional mentions during his thirty years of professional experience, including a scholarship from La Caixa to study at Columbia University in the United States and various awards for the innovation and development of the Spanish information society.
He has worked in several countries, including Spain, Germany, the United States and Morocco. He has experience in various sectors, academia, strategic consulting, HR, real estate, retailing and home automation, where he has held executive positions in top multinationals.

He was awarded the "Prince Fellow Award" as the best professor of the year at the EU Business School in Spain in the 2022-2023 academic year, for his academic work and dedication to his students. He is a lover of psychology and sociology, history, personal development and business management. He also loves sports and traveling.
