Program structure

The Executive Bridging Program (90ECTS) is a one-year, two-semester program that enables students who do not have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent to access a graduate study program at EU Business School.

Year 1
Semester 1 (21CH | 30ECTS)
Managing People & Organizations

This course serves as an introduction to the key concept of people management within contemporary organizations. It outlines the strategic need of an organization to attract, develop, motivate and retain talent via departmental functions and managerial skill sets. The course focuses on issues concerning people management from the perspective of both organization and employee. It examines cutting-edge global organizations and small medium enterprises across a variety of industries, analyzing the importance of workforce management in acquiring competitive advantages.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

Students will increase their knowledge and comprehension of financial analysis in the major areas of financial reporting, comparative financial statement analysis, sales forecasting, budgeting, and cost-volume-profit analysis.  They will learn how to comprehend, evaluate, and interpret financial and managerial data, which are essential skills for business managers in any field. On completion of the course, students will be able to: analyze cashflow statements; compute the cash flows from operations; understand investments and financial transactions.; complete a comprehensive financial ratio analysis from all stakeholders; prepare cash budgets and sales forecasts; and formulate a cost-volume-profit analysis and a break-even analysis.

Transformational Change Management

This course deals with the complexities that confront businesses and organizations worldwide as technologies advance at breathtaking speed and threaten to replace jobs, roles, and responsibilities. Students explore the multiple considerations that management must take into account in order to effectively transform their businesses, while simultaneously staying competitive in their own industries. Specific issues that need to be addressed in order to determine optimal changes include levels of disruption, cultural perspectives, knowledge management, and a wide range of data analysis.

Innovation in Business

This course focuses on the concept of innovation as applied to leadership challenges. Students will study how innovative approaches can be applied to issues in fluctuating business environments. The course provides opportunities for discussion of design thinking techniques, with students gaining an understanding of how to apply innovative solutions to new venture creation and organizational transformation. Students will develop their skills in critical thinking, collaboration and strategy formation. The study of innovative organizational culture, together with the principles of partnership and future orientation, helps to promote an entrepreneurial mindset that is relevant across a variety of roles and industries.

Supply Chain Management

The course is designed to introduce students to the broad range of activities required to plan, control and execute product flow, from acquiring raw materials and production through distribution to final customer in the most streamlined and cost-effective way possible. The course is delivered through a combination of theory, case analysis, written assignments and group and in-class discussion.

International Strategic Management

International strategic management is about making distinctive choices concerning the direction and scope of the organization over the long term, in order to enhance its ability to create value and improve its prospects for organizational survival and growth. The course examines MNCs and explores the link between international strategic and international operational management. Students will learn how strategic considerations should incorporate environmental, social and governance issues and understand international strategic management as a core management process. In addition, they will study the complexity and dynamics of change within organizations, and the impact of change on an organization’s vision and mission.

Semester 2 (21CH | 30ECTS)
Project Management

This course guides students through the fundamental project management concepts required to launch, lead and obtain benefits from projects in both private and non-profit organizations. Students explore the role of project management in achieving operational sustainability in competitive markets. They will gain an understanding of the impact of organizational culture on project outcomes, and learn about how defining scope, sequence, and objectives form part of the process. Causes of project failure, together with risk mitigation through planning and early phase initiative analysis are studied, providing a solid foundation in essential project management skills that can be applied across a range of different industries.

Responsible Management

This integrated course guides students through the principles of acting in a sustainable and ethical manner whilst performing management roles. The module equips students with an understanding of the tools and strategies required for the responsible execution of projects in the modern business world. Students will study key concepts such as corporate social performance, law and compliance, ethical versus destructive leadership, and stakeholder engagement and management for value creation. They will learn about responsible supply chain and human resources management, ethical marketing and communication strategies, and how to apply activity mapping within the global context. The module ensures responsible management principles can be incorporated effectively across various business structures and functions.

Strategies in A Disruptive world

This course focuses on the discipline of strategic management and provides an opportunity for students to bring together all that they have learned in the program as a whole, integrating and contextualizing their knowledge. It draws upon strategic management theories, concepts, methods and tools to nurture each student’s capacity to think strategically about organizations in terms of uncertain external development contexts and current strategic positions, and to identify potential for pursuing alternative strategic development paths and maintaining a competitive edge.

Marketing in Action

In this course, students will learn how to develop a strategic marketing plan for a company and/or brand. They will acquire knowledge of the specific tools and skills required to implement key stages of any marketing strategy: analysis, segmentation, targeting and positioning, execution and control. On completion, students will be able to apply the analytical frameworks used to harmonize organizational goals and resources with market needs and opportunities; execute segmentation, targeting and positioning plans; create marketing strategies and programs; formulate a strategic marketing plan for a company or brand; and systematically review the outcomes of a marketing plan.

Leading the Way

This course introduces students to the key issues of becoming an effective leader and empowering teams (whether presential, hybrid or virtual) for organizational success. Students will learn how to evaluate the effectiveness of the role of the leader and understand how the changing nature of the formal organization and globalization has made leadership positions in organizations more complex. The course offers a more practical approach and examines in depth the changing nature of leadership: no single approach to leadership is appropriate for all organizations in all situations.

Service Management

This course prepares students for enlightened management and suggests creative entrepreneurial opportunities. Outstanding service organizations are managed differently from their "merely good" competitors. Actions are based on totally different assumptions about the way success is achieved. The results are evident, not just in terms of conventional performance measurements, but also in employee enthusiasm and customer satisfaction. This course will study service management from an integrated viewpoint with a focus on customer satisfaction. The material will integrate operations, marketing, strategy, information technology and organizational issues. Finally, because the service sector is the fastest-growing sector of the economy, this course is intended to help students discover entrepreneurial opportunities.

Graduation requirements

In addition to the listed courses, students must successfully complete the following final project (30 ECTS/22CH):

Management Consulting Project: Part 1

The Management Consulting Project is designed to deliver real-world learning experience, giving students the opportunity to apply skills gained in their professional life combined with the knowledge acquired throughout the program to deliver recommendations and solutions as consultants to businesses. The course develops key skills and competencies for students to provide consultancy services to businesses by exposing them to their practical realities and challenges. The course adopts a pragmatic and results-oriented learning approach, whereby students learn about a variety of business consultancy tools and techniques in the classroom, identify problems, analyze key strategies and apply them practically in real business contexts. This allows students to strengthen their knowledge and understanding of business analysis, project management and consulting, while enhancing their skills and competencies in research, strategic communications, drafting, liaising with key stakeholders, teamwork and collaboration and managing conflicts. The course is spread over two semesters and culminates with the submission of a project report and a presentation of the key recommendations before faculty and the organization’s representative(s).

The course develops key skills and competencies for students to provide consultancy services to businesses by exposing them to their practical realities and challenges. The course adopts a pragmatic and results-oriented learning approach, whereby students learn about a variety of business consultancy tools and techniques in the classroom, identify problems, analyze key strategies and apply them practically in real business contexts. This allows students to strengthen their knowledge and understanding of business analysis, project management and consulting, while enhancing their skills and competencies in research, strategic communications, drafting, liaising with key stakeholders, teamwork and collaboration and managing conflicts. The course is spread over two semesters and culminates with the submission of a project report and a presentation of the key recommendations before faculty and the organization’s representative(s).

Learning outcomes

The Executive Bridging Program equips students with a comprehensive view of modern business. Students will be able to demonstrate specialist knowledge of a wide range of business areas, making them a valuable asset to any organization. Primarily, the program focuses on the following key learning outcomes. In addition, students will:

  • Acquire an understanding of current business issues through required readings and research.
  • Analyze issues facing large multinationals and small organizations pertaining to change management.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the analysis, decision making and implementation issues of managing a service.
  • Obtain a practical working background that prepares the graduate for immediate entry into a management position.

Certificate awarded

On successful completion of this program, you will earn:

  • An Executive Bridging Program certificate from EU Business School, Switzerland, which is institutionally accredited by IQA and certified by eduQua and programmatically by ACBSP and IACBE

You must have a minimum of five years of successful managerial experience. Applicants must be aged 25 years or older.

Academic requirements:

  • 1 certified copy of high school diploma or equivalent

Proof of English level: 

  • TOEFL score 79/4 (as of Jan 2026) (internet-based), 211 (computer-based); IELTS 6.0; CAE B2 with a minimum score of 169; minimum PTE-A of 59; native speaker of English or equivalent.

If you do not meet these criteria, you will have an interview with the admission committee and will be either considered on a merit basis or directed to a foundation program.
