Bio

Dr. Ioanna Liouka is a Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship and International Management from the University of Glasgow, an MBA from INSEAD, and a BSc in Decision Science & Marketing from the Athens University of Economics and Business. Her research focuses on entrepreneurship, corporate innovation, international management, and venture financing, with publications in leading peer-reviewed journals such as Urban Studies, European Management Review, Business Strategy and the Environment, Long Range Planning, Journal of World Business, and Business History. She has also contributed to UNCTAD’s Best Practices in Investment for Development series.

Dr. Liouka currently serves as Head of Careers & Corporate Partnerships at EU Business School. She has previously held faculty positions at Grenoble Ecole de Management and the International Institute in Geneva, and worked as Economic Affairs Officer at UNCTAD. Beyond academia, she co-founded a entrepreneurial venture specializing in corporate team building and executive development. She also worked as Senior Consultant with Deloitte in Athens. Her professional trajectory bridges academia, policy, and industry, reflecting a commitment to innovative pedagogy, research impact, and applied entrepreneurship.
