Program structure

The Master of Business Administration (MBA, 90 ECTS) is a one-year, full-time program with start dates in October, January and March. The rolling intake structure means you can start the program at the beginning of any of the three terms for maximum flexibility.

Throughout the program, you will engage in business simulations and case studies to develop practical insights and real-world expertise.

Once the core courses contained in the three terms are successfully completed, you will begin the capstone which starts immediately after the completion of your last term.

Year 1
Term 1 (20 ECTS)
Business Problem Solving

This course will enable students to build skills and knowledge in problem-solving and research to support their studies and provide a foundation for their final business consultancy project. It prepares students to become effective managers, business owners and entrepreneurs capable of solving problems in complex and dynamic environments. The emphasis is on problem-solving, critical thinking, presenting proposals, researching, analyzing and making recommendations for senior management or an executive audience.

Breakthrough Leadership Skills

This course equips students with essential skills and knowledge to think and act as inclusive leaders. They will critically evaluate organizational and team design, address organizational change challenges and explore how organizational culture can be used to engage employees. Through self-evaluation tools, students will identify their strengths to build career-focused personal development plans. The course enhances students' performance in teamworking, cross-cultural contexts and in settings requiring emotional intelligence and negotiation skills.

Term 2 (20 ECTS)
Financial Decision Making

This course provides students with practical methods for managers and entrepreneurs to understand and use financial information for decision-making. It explores key financial management issues, performance indicators and methodologies to critically analyze accounting and financial information. The course examines financial strategy in economic contexts and allows students to develop budgeting, cash flow management and business planning skills, enabling them to assess accounting information and create financial forecasts and models.

Digital Business Delivery

A business adds value through its operations, which are often highly dependent on digital technology. Understanding the links between technology and operations is critical for aspiring business managers, owners or entrepreneurs. This course builds knowledge of managing operations and technology systems, with a focus on sustainability and climate change reduction. It equips students with tools to analyze and recommend improvements to business systems, from startups to established enterprises.

Term 3 (20 ECTS)
Marketing in the Digital World

Marketing is essential for all organizations; it directs businesses into new markets and opportunities while maintaining and developing existing customers. This course will develop students’ knowledge concerning the nature of marketing as well as sales in an international context, capitalizing on current and emerging technologies. During the course, students will examine globalized marketing trends, effective marketing programs, stakeholder relationships and digital applications, learning practical marketing concepts, theories and frameworks for local, international and global markets.

Global Strategy & Innovation

All businesses must understand their industry environment to position themselves for success. This course focuses on the strategic skills needed by executives, managers, intrapreneurs and entrepreneurs. Students will explore strategy development, execution, and business environment analysis with an emphasis on innovation, corporate responsibility, ethical decision-making and governance. A key element of the course is a business simulation in which students will role-play executive positions, make strategic decisions and receive immediate feedback on their validity.

Graduation requirements
Capstone - Building Business Insights

After successfully completing the core courses, students are required to undertake a Building Business Insights project, which synthesizes the knowledge, theories and skills developed from previous terms to deliver realistic solutions to contemporary business challenges. Students will work on real-world issues organizations are facing, utilizing problem-solving skills and competencies to handle and manage business challenges and provide practical, solution-related recommendations.

30 ECTS

To earn the U.K. state-recognized degree awarded by London Metropolitan University and the degree from EU Business School Switzerland, which is institutionally accredited by IQA and certified by eduQua and programmatically by ACBSP and IACBE, students must successfully complete all 90 ECTS of the MBA program.

This includes:

  • Courses contained in Term I, Term II and Term III (60 ECTS)
  • Capstone (30 ECTS)

Academic requirements:

  • A minimum of a 2:2 Honors degree from a UK or recognized international university or another equivalent international qualification in any subject; or · 
  • An acceptable professional qualification equivalent such as the CMI, CIM, ACCA, CIMA, at level 6 or above
  • Sufficient work experience to benefit from the course and to provide value to their peers. It is expected all applicants will have at least two years’ work experience which may have been gained whilst studying


Proof of English level:

  • TOEFL score 93/4.5 (as of Jan 2026) (internet-based), 238 (computer-based); IELTS 6.5; CAE C1 with at least a 5.5 minimum in each section; minimum PTE-A of 59; native speaker of English or equivalent.
