Bio
Mònica Mateu Adzerias is a Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at EU Business School in Barcelona and the Director of Innovation and Business Development at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). She holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi School of Management and a B.A. in Economics and Business from UCLA.
Her academic and professional work focuses on the intersection of innovation strategy, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship ecosystems, with particular emphasis on how emerging technologies such as AI, quantum computing, and supercomputing can drive sustainable business growth and societal impact.
Mònica has collaborated with organizations including HP, Deloitte, GB Foods, Barcelona City Council, EIT InnoEnergy, and Mobile World Capital, developing innovation programs, corporate venturing initiatives, and partnerships that connect research, startups, and industry.
She regularly mentors entrepreneurs, leads executive workshops on innovation and business growth, and contributes to the design of MBA and Master’s programs in innovation and entrepreneurship across EU Business School’s European campuses.
