Bio
Dr. Olena Danylenko holds a PhD in Economic Theory from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and a second Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Twente. She brings over 20 years of professional experience across academia, research, and business.
Her expertise encompasses economic science, public administration, and policy analysis, with a strong emphasis on linking policy frameworks to business practice. Dr. Danylenko’s work is grounded in sustainable and responsible economics, with particular attention to climate‑risk analysis. Her recent research focuses on climate risk assessment and the development of climate adaptation literacy.
Dr. Danylenko joined EUBS in 2018 as Adjunct Faculty and was appointed Academic Quality and Subject Coordinator in 2024. Her prior academic appointments include Associate Professor at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and Senior Researcher at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Alongside her academic career, Dr. Danylenko has pursued a sustained entrepreneurial path. She has co‑founded small and medium‑sized enterprises (SMEs) in Ukraine within the service sector and later co‑founded a consultancy firm in Germany, where she continues to serve in leadership roles.
