Bio

PhD from the European University Institute (Florence, Italy), Master in Economic History and Institutions (University of Barcelona), BA in Economics and Business from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Graduated in Advanced Management (IESE Business School) and in Financial Management (EADA Business School), Postgraduate studies in Economic and Business History (London School of Economics).

More than eight years working in the administration of the Government of Catalonia where he held various senior policy officer and management Positions. Member of the board of various Catalan public bodies and agencies, and President of the board of Fira 2000 (2013-15). A long professional career in the private sector, as well as in consultancy on strategy and innovation for the public and private sector.

In the academic field: managing director of the Public Private Research Center at IESE Business School, Vicedean for faculty of the UPF-Barcelona School of Management, and adjunct professor at the Department of Economics and Business (Pompeu Fabra University), and Professor and Dean of the EU Business School.
