Bio
Suddha Chakravartti is Professor of International Relations at EU Business School, Geneva. His teaching, research, and consulting activities cover a wide spectrum of global issues, including global governance, geopolitics and geo-economics, the rise of new powers, resource security, risk assessment, international development, and public policy.
From 2017 to 2023, he served as Head of Research for the EU Business School Group and was the founding Editor-in-Chief of ONRESEARCH, the school’s flagship academic journal.
An Indian citizen, he holds a B.A., LL.B. (Hons) degree from the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), India, and both a Master (MIR) and Doctorate (DIR) in International Relations from the Geneva School of Diplomacy, where his doctoral research focused on energy poverty in India.
He is also a visiting faculty member at several Swiss institutions, and has previously worked as a researcher on a Commonwealth Secretariat project in Geneva and with the Kofi Annan Foundation. He frequently speaks at international forums and writes commentary and analysis on global affairs across diverse platforms.
